Countrywide Telecoms’ 5 year anniversary

On the 25th January 2013, Countrywide Telecoms was formed.

Five years on, Countrywide Telecoms looks back on and celebrates the most important moments that have led to the incredible success and continued growth of the company.

In 2013 the company began out of Managing Director PJ Farr’s vision: to become the leading supplier of broadband to the construction industry. His vision was born from the idea that there was certainly a shortage of communication solutions for the building sector and with the constantly-changing nature and speedy deployment of sites most fixed line broadband providers were unable to satisfy demand. Thus, Site Connect is created, after many tests and trials, and was ready to be launched on construction sites across the UK. It soon became a market leader, with its ingenious LTE Advanced technology allowing it to provide speeds 30x faster than the UK average making it a huge success, coupled with outstanding customer service and the speed of installation (Site Connect can be easily transported and fitted within ten days).

In 2016 Countrywide Telecoms reached into the local community, becoming a trusted provider to Surrey and bordering counties’ local businesses. In the same year Guildford Borough Council had widely publicised the opening of a new shop in the town centre, but a few days before launch, the entire town lost connectivity following extreme weather. With the opening under threat, the Council contacted Countrywide Telecoms. In just one day, Countrywide installed Site Connect and instantly restored connectivity. The launch went ahead successfully the next day which created an ongoing relationship with the council. Having worked with Guildford Borough Council, Eagle Radio and The University of Surrey, Countrywide Telecoms is a recognised brand within the local area.
